Home Ep by Louca – Including Daso’s Remix and Geoff Wichmann’s Remix For its first release, Popcorn Records signed Lucas Orsatelli, better known under the Loucamoniker, who presents here his debut EP. No doubt, this year will be that of revelation for the french producer. His performance and production talents are turning him into a young globe-trotter and in 2011 he is already set to share the stage with inspirations such as Paul Kalkbrenner, Jeff Mills and Laurent Garnier, to name a few… ‘Home‘ is the release’s title track, mirrorring the qualities of its producer : generous and promising! Its round and hypnotic bass lign make it a true dancefloor burner. German meister and emblematic figure of the Connaisseur label, Daso delivers a dark and striking remix, subtle mix between emotive house keys and harder techno sonorities. Following his praised releases on ReadyMade, belgian Geoff Wichmann offers a deeper yet festive take, on which filtered shakers and tropical percussions blend in harmony with Louca’s original synthline. Finally, Louca’s original works ‘Love and Pain’ and ‘Sleepless Night‘ offer a greater perspective over our main artist’s work, highlighting his diversity in production. Enjoy!
